Media Ink Publishing, Inc.
A Subsidiary of A.O.S. Enterprises, Inc.
Media Ink Publishing, Inc. is a newly re-born publishing firm nestled in Northern California's Gold Country in the beautiful Sierras. At Media Ink we focus on the publishing of positive and inspirational materials. Media Ink was founded by Bruce Oliver in 1987 in Seattle, Washington as a small computer graphics and publishing company. Today, with two masters degrees and 20 years of cumulative experience as an educator and therapist, he has decided to invest in providing a view to the positive. "There are plenty of venues to experience anger, violence, and the generally negative craziness of our world that much of the media would have us believe is the only state of the human condition. However, the increase of positive self-help books and inspirational materials suggests that people have had enough of the negative, and are looking for a positive light in their lives", says Bruce. This is the reason that we focus on information and stories that are aimed at improving individual lives, family life, health & wellness (mind, body & spirit), businesses, and our communities which all contribute to the health and well being of our society. Media Ink Publishing is proud to present its first publication, the Pick Me Up magazine which provides a "bite sized" portion of the positive. With many people working two jobs just to make ends meet, it is difficult to find the time to sit down and digest lengthy texts. Our articles and stories can be read in a few minutes, and are designed to be both educational and inspirational. Our mission and focus is to produce a publication that provides a platform for positive content that uplifts, inspires, motivates and gives hope to the individual human spirit, our families, our communities and our businesses. We know that what receives attention grows and flourishes, and what is ignored tends to perish. As such it is our belief that a positive focus supports a healthy community.
We plan to provide recognition and support to positive business endeavors by providing a forum for customers to express their thanks for quality service received at local businesses. We believe that positive public feedback will encourage businesses to strive to provide exemplary service. Everyone is welcome to contribute, however, we reserve the right to verify all testimonies in order to maintain the trust of our readers.
Honor and integrity in publishing is our goal and a standard to which we hold ourselves.
